FINNTWILL is a collection of 100 % wool fabrics, made of local wool with safe natural dyes. Our local wool is soft, and felts easily. Dyeing is made in a tight co-operation with a professional natural dyer. All dyes has a natural source: indigoflera tinctoria, reseda luteola, madder (roots of rubia tinctoria) and cochenille. Finntwill represents very unique combination of wool fibres of finnish origin and natural dyes. 

We have been working for years with shephards and wool spinneries to bring our own finnsheep breed’s wool into production. We process wool in small quantities to develop the best quality yarns for our wovens. In Finland sheeps can live a good life in small herds, enjoying the best care. The wool is processed into worsted special yarns by a small finnish spinnery. 

Finntwill fabrics have finished by a washing treatment.
